Congregation Shaarei Tefila of Los Angeles, California, hosted a special evening celebrating Yud Shvat, the day the Rebbe accepted the leadership of the Chabad-Lubavitch movement.
In attendance were some 350 men and women who came from all over Southern California, including many local Shluchim.
The Farbrengen began with a video presentation of the Farbrengen of Yud Shvat 5743, where the Rebbe recited a Bosi Legani discourse.
Welcoming the crowd was the president of the shul, R’ Sholom Feigelstock and its spiritual leader Rabbi Moshe Kesselman.
The guest speaker was Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, Vice Chairman of Merkos L’inyonei Chinuch, who shared personal stories and spoke about Hiskashrus to the Rebbe.
Special thanks was given to Glendale Shliach Rabbi Simcha Backman, R’ Berel Wilhelm and Mrs. Rivky Markowitz for helping make the event a success.
