Marking the Yahrzeit of The Rambam, The Alter Rebbe, and Rabbi Yaakov Abuchatzera, a wonderful Meleva Malka took place in Lubavitch Yeshiva of Crown Heights Hall on Crown Street and was attended by many families and individuals of the community.

Merkaz Sefarad Chabad was established by Rabbi Lazer Avtzon in 2007 and is led by the dynamic Rov, Rabbi Meir Shushan with daily classes in Torah and Chassidus, including weekly classes for women.
Rabbi Shushan emceed the evening with many Chassidic stories and Divray Torahs.
The guest speakers were Rabbi Mordechai Gurary and Rabbi Eliyahu Matusof who gave over inspiring speeches and personal stories.
The music was traditional Sephardic folk songs (piyutim) performed by the multi talented duo Uri Biton and Avi Peretz. They played and sang lively and beautiful music.
