Didn't the Rebbe say?
October 25, 2020 1:01 am

Didn’t the Rebbe say shluchim should not be involved in political decisions, like taking sides in an election ?

October 25, 2020 1:28 am

Beautiful! Just beautiful!

False advertising
October 25, 2020 2:14 am

The real letter was dated June 10
It is being released now as a roundabout endorsement which is totally not true

Respectfully I will have to respond interesting on your statement.

Can you please explain what policy proposals Mr Biden has proposed that led you to favor him over Trump?

And where are you getting your data from that “most jews support biden over Trump”?

I respectfully await your response!!!

Thanks You!!!

I disagree with Trump and want Biden to win! But I voted up for your post because you are being so respectful! Every other comment is rude and forcing their own personal opinion on other. Have much Hatzalch and I hope everyone acts like you with much respect.

Vote for the party rather than the candidate.
A vote for Biden is a vote for socialism and plain immorality.
A vote for Trump is a vote for (religious) freedom, morals, and law.

Not necessarily one of us

This is part of the Bidens team commenting. Not all ppl who respond on here are part of chabad, let alone Jewish, so any surprising comments, u can just disregard

Very Good Point!

If they think Trump has done something good in declaring houses of worship essential, that’s fine. They signers of the letter are entitled to that view. My concern is with the question that since the letter is undated, why is being released now? I would hope it is not to put forth the false notion that, since they are essential, this means that worshippers can disregard all sensible public health regulations with regard to holding large gatherings. While the letter does not say that signers ad I ate this, the timing renders it suspect. In Massachusetts Shuks are open and… Read more »

The letter is being released now because it took some time to get everyone’s signatures.

Depends what type of community. Most lubavitchers are voting trump for solid reasons. And what does that have to do with the post? There is nothing wrong with sending a gratitude letter and show our support, you don’t need to be supportive.

First US president to do some great things for our klal
May Donald Trump Sr be blessed with great health continued alacrity and good decision making as he enters his second temp of presidency….

This is so nice to see leaders of Yidden being united..please dont ruin this by commenting on a detail that is the opposite.
Next ALL Yidden need to unite!
Moshiach Now!

It's a thank you, not endorsement.

The letter was sent specifically to thank the President for declaring houses of worship ‘essential’. It wasn’t written as an endorsement or assessment of everything he’s done.

Wonderful to see that Rav Malkiel Kotler finally allowed Lubavitch to join and be part of klal yisroel. He did not consider them so when inviting communities to the Asifa, as he told the Satmar Rebbe then, “they are not part of klal yisroel”. Thank you for welcoming us back into the fold.

SO sad

Vote for the president that::
#will help the environment,
#stop fossil fuel emissions causing global warming,
#be respectful to our allies and treat our enemies as enemies, and
#shows his tax returns.

Do you get food stamps, medicaid, section 8, federal programs (college/PELL etc) and affordable health care – you need hakoras hatov and to vote Democrat.

You're most likely

1) You most likely are a conservative/reform Jew since almost no Frum Jews support “tikkun olam”.
2) You don’t seem to give a — about Jewish people if you support Biden and his radical ideas over Trump.
3) You’re a wacko.

Really? Do you skip those words in Oleinu? You know, the words of “l’saken olom b’malchus shadei”? Is that not in your siddur? It is in mine!

Big mistake.

A vote for Biden/Harris is a vote for Socialism, Marxism and Communism! I feel sorry for your children and grandchildren that have to live through this nightmare! Be careful what you wish for! By the way, Biden/ Harris hate Israel and will support Palestinians!

How can you vote for Biden, he doesnt even remember who he is running against. He is a democratic stooge for Harris. And everyone knows it. It is so so so sad that not only he is compliant to this farce, but his family is allowing him to make a fool of himself. They set him up because no one likes her, but right after election, should he win, they will suddenly announce he is not well, and there you have it…harris is your next president, pelosi is your VP and sanders and AOC is head of finances, and guess… Read more »
