In honor of Hey Teves, both Lubavitch Yeshiva and Oholei Torah of Crown Street held their annual book fairs.
Oholei Torah students were able to purchase a wide variety of seforim at wholesale cost, or even below wholesale cost, thanks to the sponsorship from the PTA fund and the various publishing houses.
A most remarkable showing was the first print of the Tur printed in Venice 450 years ago, with the original marks of the censorship of the king.
Rabbi Joseph Rosenfeld, Executive Director of Oholei Torah, came personally to see this year’s event, and thanked the PTA mothers for their dedication and commitment to Oholei Torah.
Lubavitcher Yeshiva of Crown Heights held their 18th annual Book Fair today as well.
A huge selection of book titles geared for all ages were on display for the students.
The Book fair was put together by Rivkah Teich, and the help of many mothers including Dini Gourarie and Rivky Wudowsky.
Thank you to parents like Rivky W. – you did an amazing jpb teching the children all about ink!
Rabbi Yarmush you continue to inspire us all with your amazing devotion and care for your students- our children!
