Families of Chabad Shluchim in and around S. Diego, California, gathered together on Monday for an end-of-summer barbecue, a chance to get together before the busy High Holiday season begins.
60 adults and children enjoyed a relaxing day with friends and colleagues at Chabad at La Costa, hosted by Rabbi Yeruchem and Nechama Eilfort.
The Eilforts ended their Barbecue Bounty season the day earlier and were thrilled to host with an abundant buffet of burgers, hot dogs, ‘the Rabbi’s special wings’, corn on the cob and a salad bar.
Rabbi Yonah Fradkin, Head Shliach of S. Diego, addressed the adults, while the children participated in crafts and bounced in the bounce house.
As the day’s fun came to an end, the Shluchim wished each other a good year and made a hachloto to plan further gatherings and continue the feelings of Chassidim Ein Mishpocho – We are ALL one family.
