30 Chabad Rabbis, serving as Shluchim and community leaders across South Africa, met Tuesday night in Cape Town.
Arriving from Johannesburg, Pretoria, Fourways and many other cities, they attended a rabbinical conference in the city.
Following the conference they got together at the Chabad Center, founded by Rabbi Mendel Popack some 30 years ago.
In a powerful spirit of unity, the Shluchim heard from the Head Shliach Rabbi Mendel Lipskar, Mashpia Rabbi Sholom Ber Groner and Rabbi Yossy Goldman.
The Farbrengen, in the spirit of Hakhel was a chizuk for each of the Shluchim, continuing in their work of the Rebbe’s Shlichus.
There are close to 50 Lubavitch couples serving as Shlcuhim in the country.
Best thing that happened to Torah Academy in about 20 years!
South Africa is an amazing place with so much potential . Please keep us the good work

We hope you will continue in your amazing Shlichus – “The Farbrengen, in the spirit of Hakhel was a chizuk for each of the Shluchim, continuing in their work of the Rebbe’s Shlichus.”
