During a visit this week to Israel, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev arrived on Friday afternoon for a visit and tour of Yad Vashem and the Holocaust museum.
Medvedev took part in a wreath laying ceremony in the Hall of Remembrance, visited Yad LaYeled and signed the guest book.
Yad Vashem Chairman Avner Shalev received him and accompanied him during the visit.
He was also accompanied by Chief Rabbi of Russia Berel Lazar, who at the request of Medvedev remained in Israel specially to accompany him on this tour, following a joint visit to the Western Wall on Wednesday night.
Russian Prime Minister Medvedev wrote in the Yad Vashem guest book: “Yad Vashem is a very sad, but also a very important to all of us. This tragedy must not repeat itself. The memory of the six million Jews who perished in the Holocaust – an example of terrible indifference and crimes of the twentieth century – should be etched in history forever.”
Look what happens when we voted in a true friend of Israel like Mr. Donald Trump into the office of US President. Suddenly the ruskies are playing nice with Israel. They are smart and they know that Donald would defend and support Israel so they are trying to position themselves as friends.
Moshiach times!
Just open your eyes to see !
Thank you to Chief Rabbi of Russia Berel Lazar for all of the holy and hard work that he put !!
