Russian Nshei Gather for Annual Gala Farbrengen

Despite all the darkness in the world, Russian Junior N’Shei Chabad of Crown Heights held its 21 Annual Farbrengen in person, thanks to the Rebbe’s brocha, to inspire and to encourage women to give the last push and bring Moshiach Now!

On Sunday, Daled Shvat 5781, year of the revealed miracles, Russian Junior N’Shei Chabad (RJNC) held its 21st Annual Farbrengen. The big miracle occurred and more women than expected showed up. Russian, English and Hebrew speaking women came to our event from Crown Heights, Flatbush, Boro Park, Monticello and from all over New York, to join this exclusive RJNC Kinnus banquet with amazing physical and spiritual environment. This year, many were able to watch the Farbrengen Live due to the current situation. There was a livestream on Vimeo where people from Russia, Canada, USA and Israel, who could not come for reasons beyond their control, could see the whole event live or recorded.

The theme of the evening, taken from the Rebbe’s teachings, was: “Eishes chayil ateres ba’alah” — “A woman of valor is the crown of her husband.” Organizers of the RJNC wanted to show how the righteous women throughout the generations were able to bring a salvation to the Jewish people, turning the darkness into the light. One of them, Miriam, who brought with her a tambourine from Egypt, full with bitachon of the imminent redemption. For this reason, the miracle of the Kriyas Yam Suf, splitting of the Red sea, was incorporated into the design of the hall. The Banquet Hall looked amazing in teal with the real video of the sea. There was an expression of the sea in every detail from the shape and color of the centerpieces to napkin rings looking like sea stars and the setting of fish and meat dishes looking like seashells and soup looking like moss and golden candle-cups.

The words of Chassidus, Halocha and Rambam were pouring in abundance reviving and energizing the minds and souls of the participants. The light of Torah, combined with the physical beauty, with the exquisite catering, incredibly sweet music, many presents and simply, with the pleasure of socializing with friends, was able to penetrate deep inside and even to be expressed into the action, in taking the hachlotas to learn more Chassidus and to give more Tzedoka. Those who took upon themselves hachlotos were able to participate in a raffle for the very expensive gifts.

Benny Fridman with his hit song “Charasho” brought the crowd to the very freilach dancing.

The climax of the evening was a fashion show of the Jewish Righteous Women starting with Sara Imeinu until Rebbetzen Chaya Mushka. While the heroine was walking on the runway the story of her life was played out. At the finale, all the heroines, holding their hands together, gave an advice and their blessing to all the women at the event.

The evening also had an awesome Game “The Treasures at the Red sea” The questions for the game were founded on the divrei Torah that were shared earlier. All the women were able to participate and everyone loved it. The Game brought much unity and entertainment. The dancing and Chinese Auction were at the end.

The program was a huge step up with all the technological advancements used, as the Rebbe directs us from the times of Live Hook-ups to spread Yiddishkeit and Chassidus all over the world using new technologies.

This evening is the result of a lot of planning, hard work, fundraising and creativity of the organizers, also because of the incredible support of the whole Russian community but mainly, is the result of the Rebbe’s brochos that bring hatzlocha in all the activities of RJNC, like The Rebbe said this time that you should have hatzlocha, but remember you should spend more than you have, because only a good and active organization is run this way, also because this event is for Hashem and only the best goes for Hashem!

Everyone left so happy, recharged and ready to greet the King Moshiach and to finish preparing a dwelling place in this world for Hashem Himself, as the King Moshiach is on His way. Next year in Yerushelayim with all the women United in love.
