Rav Moshe Wolfson, the Mashgiach Ruchni of Yeshiva Torah Vodaas and Rav of Beis Haknesses Emmes Yisroel, delivered a very interesting shiur in Yeshiva Gedolah of Miami this week.
Rabbi Wolfson, one of the most respected Rabbis in America, has many followers who seek his advice and get inspiration from him. He is also very connected to the Lubavitcher Rebbe.
Rabbi Wolfson visited the Yeshiva Gedolah in Miami to give a shiur and inspire the students. He was accompanied by his son Rabbi Avrohom Yitzchak and Rabbi Aron Kovitz, his attendant, as well as Mr. Avi Shaulson. They were greeted by Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Yehuda Leib Shapiro and the Menhal Ruchni Rabbi Bentche Korf.
After an introduction by Rabbi Shapiro, Rabbi Wolfson delivered a deep Shiur for close to two hours about Adar Sheini, which is the end of the year, and represents Jews of all levels. Rabbi Wolfson said that G-d loves Jews of even the lowest spiritual level, because they have a G-dly soul. Rabbi Wolfson encouraged the students to follow the Rebbe’s ways of loving each Jew unconditionally as well.
Rabbi Wolfson also related a personal story about a family member of his who was ill, and how he had davened for him and cried, repeating the Posuk “Lev Nishbar Venidke.” When Rabbi Wolfson visited the Rebbe in New York, the Rebbe mentioned that due to this prayer the person will surely become well, exhibiting his Ruach Hakodesh.
His visit left a great impression on the students, related their Menahel Rabbi Korf.
