In Rome’s Jewish neighborhood of Piazza Bologna Chabad offers a Sukkah open 24 hours.
In a city like Rome where there isn’t much place to build a Sukkah, Chabad Youth’s initiative by Rabbi Menachem and Rivkie Lazar was praised by many.
During Yom Tov families, tourists and foreign students eat in the Sukkah in shifts to make room for everybody.
On Chol Hamoed tens of childrens and teens participated in the Chabad Youth activities in Sukkah.
The children created their own sefer Torah for Simchat Torah and also enjoyed building an edible Sukkah.
The teens also enjoyed a meal in the Sukkah after their weekly soccer game.
