Rabbi Abramowitz related a story of how a person asked the Rebbe in which way he can help the Rebbe to which the Rebbe responded that by supporting Shaloh, he is helping the Rebbe. Rabbi Abramowitz expressed the gratitude that the NCFJE has to the Bochurim for enabling the Rebbe’s vision to come to fruition. Rabbi Sadya Engel thanked Ahrele Matusof and Mendy Shanowitz for their constant assistance.
The highlight of the event was when Rabbi Yitzi Bogomilski related that two years ago when he was doing Released Time, there was an older woman who was a member of the faculty and was extremely helpful in getting children to sign up. When asked what was motivating her to be so supportive, she exclaimed that she was a Released Time graduate herself.
The Released Time group picture was given out to all attendees.
Special thanks to Rabbi Noach Fox (Gabbai of the Kollel) for helping make this event a success.
