With the coming school year on the horizon, Released Time program is happy to announce that it will be hosting a conference this upcoming Labor Day.
It will be taking place in Queens, NY with the focus being on giving the Released Time program’s weekly instructors an opportunity to unite and revitalize.
The program will also include a seminar that will give the Bochurim vital tools in order to empower them to make this upcoming year of Released Time a real success.
The event will be open to all Bocherim studying in 770 who plan to participate in Released Time this upcoming school year.
It will begin with a gourmet brunch at Kehilas Sha’arei Rachamim where Rabbi Sholom Ber Hecht, Chairman of Released Time, serves as Rabbi.
Following the brunch, the Bochurim will be participating in a seminar at Chabad J.C.C. run by Rabbi Mordy Hecht.
The seminar will include workshops on how to structure a functional class as well as lesson planning; it will also include special presentations prepared for this event.
Following these informative presentations, a panel of notable Released Time instructors will share their thoughts and ideas on how to create a successful program for the over 50 Released Time locations currently held In N.Y.C.
The day will conclude with a well-deserved barbecue supper for all of the Bochurim to enjoy.

Big thanks to Shneyor Zalmen Minkowitz.
I agree with number 2 except its gonna be tough to get there that day unless they leave early
Release time was the best time I had in 770. This is so important.
Genius the event is on Labor Day in queens so all the bachurim won’t be disturbed by the noise of the parade and will be doing something productive.
It sounds like released time is really moving up a notch. I hope the bochorim take it seriously and make the rebbe proud with record numbers attending.
Yasher Koach to the organizers
