Over 30 women from across South Florida and of all walks of Jewish life attended a Relationshift Marriage Workshop in the Wynwood Arts District this past Sunday, January 9th. In a calm candlelit environment filled with flowers and warmth, the women explored a new way of thinking about themselves within their marriages.
Hindi Kalmenson, a Certified Relationshift Coach from Los Angeles, California, flew in for the occasion and weaved in deep Chassidic concepts with practical tools for bringing a tangible and genuine sense of Shalom Bayis into their homes.
Sara Gita Soble created Relationshift in 2019 to answer the need for an organization that would offer an exclusively Jewish education and support system for women in their marriages. The Relationshift Method focuses on bettering oneself and thereby bettering one’s marriage. Relationshift offers Marriage and Relationship Support and Education through Individual Coaching, Group Workshops, National Retreats, and a Supportive Community.
The Miami workshop last Sunday included topics such as: “At the Root: The Sefirot,” “The Dynamic: Mashpia and Mekabel,” “Reflections: How do I Receive?” “My Thoughts have Creative Power,” “Ownership,” and “The 13 Principles at the Heart of Receiving.”
Women who attended the workshop said that it inspired them to continue their journey into creating stronger connections within their marriages, with reflections such as “Thank you for an extremely thought-provoking workshop. It’s given me a lot to think about. I feel like I gained so much! I already see results! Thank you for the gift, guidance, and empowerment, looking forward to more!”
Relationshift’s vision is for every Jewish family to experience a deep sense of Shalom Bayis based on Torah values and is on a mission to inspire, teach, and support Jewish women to discover how to bring out the best in themselves and their relationships.
Relationshift Founder Sara Gita Soble has developed 13 Relationshift Principles that guide all workshops, retreats, and programs. These principles offer a liberating approach to resolving hurt and create powerful new ways of communicating complex subjects that leave both partners in a marriage feeling connected and with a renewed sense of intimacy.
The Relationshift approach is unique because it focuses on women actualizing their true selves, aligning them with their femininity, based on timeless Torah values. In addition, some organizations deal with crises only, while Relationshift’s more inclusive approach is compelling and can impact anybody, no matter the marriage status, thereby increasing Shalom Bayis to the entire Jewish nation.
According to Chaya, “I had no idea how to navigate my relationship, the typical solutions were failing me, and Relationshift has given me a completely new paradigm that transformed my relationship.” Similarly, another woman who follows the Relationshift Principles says that they have helped her “work on issues and tensions that kept coming up in my marriage” and that “it’s been an amazing journey and process of truly working on myself in a tangible way.”
As Jewish women, we are always looking to better ourselves and our relationships. So whether you would like to enhance your sense of self and your marriage or are going through a crisis in your life right now, visit createrelationshift.com to check out our support and educational opportunities.
