I knew Rebbetzin Simpson because her husband Rabbi Simpson (may he be healthy and prosperous for many years to come) was kind enough to invite me over his home for Shabbos meals. I attended the Brighton Beach shul from 2007-2010 and was privileged to have been over the Simpson home. Rebbetzin Simpson was so sweet and hospitable. She cooked delicious food and was always worried that she didn’t cook enough, but she always did. She was so kind to me and so proud of her husband and family. The daughter of the Rebbe’s Baal Musaf and sister of Chazzan Moshe Teleshevsky a”h she also passed on the gift of beautiful voices to her children grandchildren and Great grand children

A true chasidiste. Before Shlichus became popular, she taught by example what it meant to be totally ibbergegeben to the Rebbe and to all that was dear to him. An amazing eizer kenegdo to her dear husband (tzu lange gezunte yohrin) she exemplified what it meant to be a Lubavitcher Rebbetzin, reaching out to all Yidden in Brighton Beach with her boundless love, her radiant smile, her infectious optimism, her sense of humor. I am so sorry for your loss Faigie. I will always remember the beautiful smile your mother had , when I would meet her.
She was a special human being with outgoing qualities.

BDE – amazing lady – ran her home in brighton beach with open arms.
I do not recall her ever with a sad face actually – always and I mean always a smile, a warm, really warm smile for everyone.
She was totally .. its called IBERGEGEBEN is what it is yes that’s the word, to her kids, husband and the many that ventured to brighton either on tahalucha or whatever was need at Oceanview Jewish Center as the rabbi’s rebetzin!

She will be sorely missed!

Her house was always an open home for all those that needed company, and and a good friend, Never turning anyone down, always full of shabbos guests in Brighton Beach with that lovely smile and and a heart for of love

Rebbetzin Simpson would HAND deliver every shabbos packagaes to older people in Brighton Beach who were lonely and had no food for shabbos- we will dearly miss her
