Does your child want to be featured in Hachayol magazine? Readers have a chance to see their own Rebbe stories in print this coming year—and win a 25-mile achievement card while they’re at it.
This year Tzivos Hashem has made it very simple to submit the stories: as soon as a parent logs into their Mashpia.com account, a link to submit their child’s story will appear.
“There are so many stories of the Rebbe’s amazing insight, kindness, and miracles tucked away in every Lubavitch family history,” says Rabbi Shimmy Weinbaum, general of the Chayolei Tzivos Hashem Brigade.
Over the past two years, Hachayol has published over 120 stories from families around the world, the largest percentage of which were submitted by yaldei hashluchim. “Rebbe stories go on the front page of the magazine so that those personal moments can continue to inspire the next generation,” says Rabbi Mendy Shanowitz, director of MyShliach.
This will be the ninth year of Hachayol magazine, which has grown from a monthly publication to a weekly magazine and Yomei Dipagra supplement that has become the cornerstone of families’ Shabbos tables. “We have been blessed with incredible support,” says Rabbi Yerachmiel Benjaminson, executive director of Tzivos Hashem. Since Tzivos Hashem partnered with Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, vice chairman of Merkos L’inyonei Chinuch, the organization has been growing by leaps and bounds, inspiring thousands of young chayolim.
The Rebbe Story Contest creates an excellent opportunity for parents to sit down with their children and remember the moments that inspired them to be connected to the Rebbe. This will surely motivate their kids as well—it’s our children who will bring Moshiach now!
