I am personally a son of a shliach so whereever I go I am a shliach, I called up R Polichenko, after hearing the terrible news in Mumbai and wanting to help shluchim in similar dangerous situations, feel cared about, feel uplifted, feel that no matter where they are or how dangerous it is chasidim ain mishpocho, he said sure I can come, and he would even accomodate and feed me, it was a beautiful shabbos, and I am sure any bocher wanting to go help shluchim would really be a nice thing, adding chayos, showing support etc. of course… Read more »

It’s not clear whther the shliach asked for you, or you did this on your own whim. I’m glad you returned safely, I think it makes a difference when you are sent by a shliach of a shliach (i e Merkos or the shliach of the place) which would provide a semblance of rebbe-shliach status, If you went on your own – for your good and perhaps theirs too there’s a very dangerous message being proclaimed. thank you all for your encouraging words,

yes there is a shliach, I sent a picture of him too,

I don’t know why it didn’t go up,

they are really nice hospitable,

Rabbi Polichenco and his wife, prepared the most delicious meals and brought so much joy even I was inspired,

I just went to help them, raise everyone’s spirits,

Venishmartem Me-od Lenafshosaichem is also a mitzva! This could of ended very differently and really should have been co-ordinated with Merkos who could have handled it more carefully! Thank G-D it was sucssessful and you came back safely! Please be more carefull next time! Life is too precious to waste it on a dare…..
