The annual Yarchei Kallah in Camp Gan Israel in Parksville, New York, continued Motzei Shabbos with a Melava Malka.
Speakers included Rabbi Yoel Kahan, Rabbi Avraham Shemtov, Rabbi Mordechai Shmuel Ashkenazi of Israel and Rabbi Leibel Schapiro of Miami.
The Talmudic-era gathering was renewed some 30 years ago by Shemtov to honor Rabbi Levi Yitzchak Schneerson OBM, Kabbalist and father of the Lubavitcher Rebbe.
good to see u!!
why is r’ berel levin, R’ meilach zweibell & rabbi wolberg etc. sitting not at the head, whilst a newspaper writer is?!!!
what does yarchei kala mean? what’s its origin? what does it have to do with 20 av?
yo levik i see your hanging around with the heavy hitters
hey levik in the second to last picture nice shot! keep up the amazing work ur doing for camp. wat they would be without u probably nothing they are lucky to have you!!!
So good to see you!
Who is the guy with the shtreimel on the head table (not forkash or tzinner)?
say something important and meaningful or say nothing itis not about ploini uploini it is about Chof Av.
Only in a children’s camp, can a journalist (Halperin) be elevated to the level of a rosh yeshiva!
Only in camp, kids, only in camp.
i am sorry I missed it this year, i have been there the past couple of years. The div’rea torah and the heas’sa bul’bus were ge’val’dick
thats whats special about this, that there’s a holiness in an otherwise (seemingly) un-holy place.
what kind of response is that? did he say its more holy then 770 when the rebbe was there? or maybe you just suffer from an inferiority complex about the rebbe in which you should examine your own feelings about hiskashrus
BY CHASIDIM ITS RABBONIM NISHT RABBI’S….THE HEADLINES SHOULD SAY RABBONIM…THIS LUBAVITCH NOT CHABAD…
hey shlomie good to see you! regards from the east..
dont be so attacking he wasnt comparing it to 770 or how much holiness 770 had with the rebbe compared to this all it is a bunch of thee rebbes chassidim in a room talking torah now thats holy
of all the rabbis my favorite is rav zinner
the rest of them are recluses its not fair that they have soo much to give and all of them without exception hide in their rooms waiting for people to come to them the rest of the world has rabbis that are outspoken provide leadership
rav zinner at least writes books that everyone uses
the rest of them are holy holy but the regular lubavitcher hears nothing from them has no connection and wouldnt even know of them if u asked them
only a select circle have connection it is bitter
You’re such a hack a chainik… What about 770 when the Rebbe was there. Can this room be 1/10 as holy as that?
so much holiness in one room!!!!!
