Rabbi Yechezkel Zwiebel of Jerusalem, known scholar in the Charedi community, passed away suddenly on the second night of Rosh Hashana at the age of 70.
Reb Yechezkel was a well known figure in the Charedi community in Jerusalem, serving as the Rosh Yeshiva of Tiferes Yaakov for many years.
His levaya on Motzei Rosh Hashana was attended by many thousands of his students and many prominent and respected Rabbis and Rosh Yeshivas.
Reb Yechezkel was also known for his outstanding Ahavas yisroel, always with a smile and ready to help anyone in need, a family member told COLlive.
He is survived by his brothers, Rabbi Elimelech Zwiebel, the senior Mashpia in Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim of Morristown, NJ and R’ Moshe Zwiebel of London, England.
R’ Meilech will be sitting Shiva at his home in Morristown, at 5 Sussex Pl. and R’ Moshe will be sitting Shiva at his home in London, at 18 Linthorpe Rd. until Tuesday morning.

He was not identical at all, just that they were brothers they had similar features. Identical is when you can mistake them. He was a Talmud Chochom, May he be a mailitz yosher for his family and Kilal Yisroel
i always heard that R zwiebel has a brother a rosh yeshiva in Jerusalem and is a big talmud chochom. I guess that’s this brother
may his neshme have an alia. I see him once at a wedding un Israel. He looked identical to his brother R mailech

This is true he has 3 brothers and 3 sisters living in Israel, Montreal and the States. The 2 brothers R Moshe and R Meilech are the only Lubavitchers in the family.
