Rabbi Yitzchak Yehuda Yaroslavsky, the highest-ranking rabbinical authority of Chabad in Israel, was discharged from the hospital on Tuesday and has returned to his home.
Rabbi Yaroslavsky, Rov of the Nachlas Har Chabad neighborhood in Kiryat Malachi and chairman of Beis Din Rabbonei Chabad in Israel, was rushed to the hospital before Shabbos to receive treatment for a heart condition.
He had returned earlier in the week from participation in the Global Yarchei Kallah in New York, an annual gathering of leading Chabad rabbonim, Roshei Yeshivos and Mashpiim.
On Friday, he was hospitalized in the Assuta Ashdod Medical Center in Ashdod and underwent cardiac catheterization, a procedure used to diagnose and treat certain cardiovascular conditions.
On Tuesday evening, he was already back home. A photo showed him studying in his home office. Rabbi Yaroslavsky asked to thank the public for their davening in his merit.
