As the national Kinus Hamechanchim approaches top educators from the United States and from Israel are making final adjustments to their presentations. One of the most powerful times at the Kinus is the annual Farbrengen which is held at the conclusion of the first day. Hundreds of veteran and novice mechanchim come together to strengthen one another and to inspired. For many this Chinuch inspiration sustains them professionally throughout the year.
The Vaad HaKinus announced that Rabbi Yehuda Leib Schapiro, Rosh Yeshiva of the Yeshiva Gedolah Of Miami and Rav of the Chabad community in Miami will lead the Farbrengen. Rabbi Schapiro will share directives and responses he received from the Rebbe over the years as well as his experiences in editing the Rebbe’s sichos as a bochur and Kollel yungerman.
Rabbi Schapiro is marking the 40th anniversary since he was sent to Miami by the Rebbe to open the Yeshiva. He will first address the Kinus at a plenary session which will then be followed by the Farbrengen.
Kinus HaMechanchim, the annual Chabad Educators Conference for Principals and Melamdim, Mechanchim and Mashpiim of Boys’ Schools, will take place Sunday and Monday, 1-2 Tammuz 5774 / June 29-30, 2014, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Danbury. CT.
