Rabbi Moshe Yosef Friedman, a respected member of the Chabad community in Tzfas, Israel, passed away on Monday, 25 Adar, 5782.
Rabbi Friedman was a student of the famed Mashpia R’ Shlomo Chaim Kesselman and was married to Miriam, the daughter of Rabbi Moshe Yaakov Weiss obm of Bnei Brak.
He was one of the first residents of the Chabad community in Tzfas, Israel, and was involved in the development and building of the community for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Miriam, and children, Rabbi Benzion Friedman – Tzfas, R’ Yoel Friedman – Kfar Chabad, R’ Itzik Friedman – Tzfas, R’ Meni Friedman – Connecticut, R’ Tzvika Friedman – Tzfas, R’ Shmulik Friedman – Lod, Tammi.
