He was my teacher
February 12, 2017 8:57 pm

At school, I had him as my sub every year, and I was about to have him as homeroom, but the night before the first day of school, his daughter wrote on her instagram that he passed away just earlier that day. I will always remember him. Along with a soundbender he also wrote a book called, the moon, the sun, and a hotdog bun. May HaShem bless his family.

I am so sorry for your loss. I saw Moshe on Shark Tank and he won my heart, loved his energy! I bought his product right away and l still use it to this day. I always remembered his name and I was glad he was doing good in his business. He’s gone too soon and I wish peace in the heart of all his family members.

So very sorry to hear of your dear brother’s passing. May you, your mom, and the rest of your family find comfort in Hashem.
Though I didn’t know him, after seeing all the wonderful tributes, I wish I had had the good fortune of knowing him.

I was a student in one of the Rabbi Weiss’ Hebrew school classes last year, and he was one of the really amazing teachers that I had at the Talmud Torah of Minneapolis, and I had a lot of great teachers there. He taught me many different things that I found very interesting. I am deeply upset by his passing.

To the extended Weiss Family: המקום ינחם אתכם בתוך שאר אבלי ציון וירושלים.

Only fond memories, ב”ה.

When Moshe walked into a room you felt it.
What a character. From joking to learning. Everything he did always had a lining of fun to/with it.

You’ll be missed, Moshe.

You so generously donated goods to the homeless of Los Angeles. You wanted to do more and more for them knowing they’ll be cold two winters ago. Your smile was infectious and your heart so majestic. The homeless are warmer because of you!!!

Leah is among many friends I met long ago..this news is so sad and reading these tributes makes it that much more apparent that our physical world has lost an amazing human being. To Josh and Leah and siblings, beloved Dr. Weiss, Rabbi Weiss’ children, may you find comfort and peace.

As great of an inventor as he was, he was an even better educator. Rabbi Weiss taught me how to read Hebrew, and gave me the confidence to succeed in Limudei Kodesh.

Needed to Express These Belated Thoughts
November 6, 2022 7:45 pm

Although I did not know Rabbi Moshe Weiss personally, I was quite taken with him, as I watched his presentation turn the serious Shark Tank atmosphere into much laughter and warmth. What a Kiddush Ha-shem! I was so saddened to hear of Rabbi Moshe’s passing in 2016 but as a small consolation, I am happy that Rabbi Moshe was at least able to see his success as his business grew. His sudden demise left us all with valuable life lessons: if you have a dream in life, pursue your dream without putting it off; bring humor into life, which will… Read more »
