An emesser chossid

A true example of a tomim
A chossid thru and thru
His whole essence is a chossid, a true yirei I shomayim , a chossid with true bittul
A rarity in our times
Humble, unassuming ….. but the real real epitome of a Chabad chossid
May he be a gutter beter for his family and for klal Yisroel

Not a yirei shamayim (plural) nor a yiras shamayim (fem gender) but rather, he was a genuine Yoray Shomayim (male gender). He was a very special person; an exemplary chossid and a truly humble man; A loyal husband and loving father. He came to these shores with his bro Reb Zelig Katzman a”h, as total orphans – no parents nor family except for distant relatives – R’SZ and Bathsheva Gansburg – who were their dedicated, closest and sole family at the initial time of their arrival here. What a loss! R’Hillel will be sorely missed by all who knew him.… Read more »

…..about him that he was lucid in the Alter Rebbe’s Shulchan Oruch. He was truly a Chossid of the Alteh Heim – from the days of “old”….. a lamed vovnik of this generation. We lost a gem – a shining light.

YEREI-SHOMAYIM

Reb HILEL was indeed AN EMESE’R YEREI- SHOMAYIM
Yehi Zichroi Boruch.

The correct expression is “YEREI- SHOMAYIM” (singular)
as we say every day in the parshas hoakeidah :
“YEREI- ELOIKIM ATOH”
(Chirik yud, tzaireh raish,alef).
