Rabbi Gerlitzky Hands Lekach
Lubavitchers in Montreal merited to receive, yet again, a piece of Lekach honey cake from Rabbi Moshe Eliyahu Gerlitzky, one of the elder Chabad Shluchim and Chassidim living today. Photos

I miss hearing Zayde Minkowitz Daven for the Umud
Rebbetzin Shterna Sara telling her son , the Frerdiker Rebbe, of the happenings/tidbits of a Farbrengen of Bochurim in her house: ” UN MOSHE ELYA IZ OICH GEGANGEN A KULYA”.
To Rabbi Gerlitzky: ARICHUS YOMIM V’SHONIM TOIVOS BIZ 180.
love you zayde minkowitz! its so nice to see you!!!
Rabbi Gerlitzky is the only one who truly rocks mit an emes in Chabad today. ad meah veesrim and then a little more for the current recession
i remeber as a kid. rabbi garlitzky, would welcome a new yid, with such ahavas yisroel mit a vahrmkeit. he was always excited to do mitvahs with simcha.
of when I used to visit the Montreal shtiebel and see Rabbi Gerlitzky greet a baal teshuva newcomer off the street with such zesto and youth…. what a fine example of running to do a mitzvah with simcho. May we all emulate his ways.
love u zayde minkowitz!!!!!
Yes I remember growing up in Montreal receiving Lekach From Rabbi Gerlitsky,
Not only, would he wish you a good year, but would add this message.
(it was in yiddish with this meaning) “if you are destined to ask for money this year you should be yotzai with the lecach”
as a kid in Montreal I never needed to ask for money… Hopefully I never will.
gut yar for all.
