Rabbi Don Yoel Levy’s Special Connection to Children of Shluchim

Rabbi Don Yoel Levy OBM was known throughout klal Yisroel as a giant in the Kashrus industry, trailblazer of high standards for Kosher supervision.

Throughout his Kashrus trips he would visit Shluchim all over the world, and his concern for them and their families was legendary.

One cause held a special place in his heart: the Tzeirei Hashluchim Winter Camp by the Shluchim Office.

This past winter, Rabbi Levy dedicated the winter camp divisions in memory of his father, Rabbi Berel Levy A”H, and his daughter Rivka Levy A”H. He and his wife Malka and family visited the camp for a tour, inspiring the campers and sharing very special stories about his father’s experiences with the Rebbe.
