this week’s episode is about R’ Avraham Meshulam Zalman Landa, also known as “Zalmen Kurenitzer” from the town of Kurenitz in White Russia. A descendant of notable Jewish scholars, including the author of “Noda BiYehuda” and the “Chacham Tzvi,” R’ Zalman was recognized as a “Gaon” from a young age. Initially opposed to the teachings of the Alter Rebbe, he eventually became a devoted disciple, establishing a prominent minyan known as “Minyan HaRav.” His journey continued with strong connections to the Mitteler Rebbe and the Tzemach Tzedek until his passing on the 20th of Kislev.
