Jewish music superstar Lipa Schmeltzer celebrated Purim evening in Crown Heights at a community-wide Grand Purim Bash on Motzei Shabbos.
The entertainer, dressed in a variety of costumes, sang non-stop for close to four hours, keeping the crowd in Oholei Torah Ballroom dancing the entire time.
The event was organized by Congregation Bais Shmuel – Chabad and its members, and a live broadcast sponsored by Innovision was viewed by over 4,000 exclusively on COLlive.com.
Lipa was accompanied by musician Pinny Ostreicher, singing a combination of Purim songs, Jewish music hits and his own popular favorites.
The free event was made possible by a gracious contribution from Mr. Simon Jacobson.
