Deep. Curious. Creative. If this describes any of the Jewish girls you know, her life may be about to change forever!
A new summer program for teenage girls, ages 15-18, will be taking place this summer in Crown Heights. Mysticism and the Arts will combine meaningful learning with a unique art experience, all in the hub of New York City’s Jewish world.
We are looking for girls who want to delve deeper and quench their intellectual and spiritual thirst, while expressing themselves creatively through art. Fascinating and interactive classes, dynamic workshops on personal growth, and fun, artistic expression will come together this summer to create a unique, once-in-a-lifetime summer experience.
Mornings will be spent with world-renowned teachers and lecturers, and will run the gamut of Jewish texts and philosophies. Girls will gain insight into ever-important topics such as truth, friendship, love, feminism, right and wrong, the purpose of existence, and faith– all through the lens of what Torah and Chassidus have to say about these issues. No topic will be left unaddressed; no question will go unanswered.
In the afternoons, girls will head over to the art studio to take all they learn and put it into creative form. Professional art instructors will lead the girls in various projects, teaching them to take their ideas and turn them into mediums of expression such as painting, movement, and more. A haven for the creative soul, our studio will be a comfortable space for the girls to express their thoughts and feelings in a positive, constructive way.
The Crown Heights experience is sure to be an amazing one. At the center of religious life, the girls will have the chance to see what a lively Jewish neighborhood is like. From the fast-paced buzz of the weekday, to the tranquil, enchanting unity that takes over on Shabbat, three weeks amongst Jewish people, shops, and restaurants is sure to be a thrill. Also, with Manhattan only a short train-ride away, there will be plenty of exciting trips and sightseeing!
Girls will live and dine in a beautiful, spacious dorm in the center of Brooklyn. Spending time together not only as classmates but as roommates will allow the girls time to form lasting bonds and learn from one another in wonderful ways. We hope to inspire a sense of community and family throughout the whole program, especially in the living quarters. Instead of experiencing homesickness, we have full faith that the girls will come to view the dorm house as a home away from home, experiencing the warmth and care of a family.
We look forward to having you join the Mysticism and the Arts family, under the auspices of Yeshivacation, this summer!

And for those girls interested in doing a post-high school program like this all year, please contact Tzohar Seminary for the Arts in Pittsburgh, PA. I am just astounded at the level of Chassidus these privileged girls are learning, while at the same time expressing their unique and inspiring talents. Wish I could go back in time and join them, in fact!

This sounds like a program with great potential, B”H. So, at your website, why is there no mention of the name of even one person connected with the program? I see you’re in the process of finding staff; that’s reasonable. But surely the person who came up with the concept of this program could include their name on the website, since this is the person who put out the publicity, started the website and Facebook page, etc. As a parent, that would be the first thing I would want to know, no matter how great the program sounds in a… Read more »
