Is it not ok?

Doesn’t it say something about a seeing rainbow that it’s not good?

What does this mean?

Is this a good sign? Moshiach?

The Rebbe writes in a sicha based on a Zohar that when you see a rainbow with bright colors you should be “mtzapa ” await /expect the moshiach .

Not good sign

Appearance of the rainbow is traditionally not viewed as a good sign. It indicates our shortcomings, and that despite our shortcomings haShem will not harm us. In doros of tzaddikim (like Rashbi) the rainbow did not appear.

A sign of Moshiach

A sign of Moshiach

The Zohar (Vol. 1, 72:2) says that before Moshiach comes, an especially bright and colorful rainbow will appear.

There is also a story I remember reading in a Chassidisher Derher that on the day of Yud Yes Kislev there was a wonderous rainbow in the sky. Knowing that such is a sign of Moshiach, but not seeing any immediate signs, someone proclaimed “Der Rov iz arois” referring to the Alter Rebbe’s release from prison.

If it was brighter than usual,

maybe it is the rainbow before Moshiach

Please read #5. Yes, it is indeed a good sign especially
showing a connection between the Ohel and 770.
May we merit to see the Geulah immediately!!!

If the rainbow comes after rain – ‘naturally’ – it isn’t a bad sign. Only if it shouldnt have been there naturally, then we say that it’s a sign from Hashem

baruch Hashem!

baruch Hashem!

it is obviously a sign of the closeness of Moshiach!

Everything is a sign from Hashem. Everything is by hashgocha and we are to learn from it an inyon in avodas Hashem according to hayom yom. I had just cried to the Rebbe at the ohel about how much we have lost in ruchnius and how much we miss him and asked for moshiach. I didn’t see the rainbow. But now I found out about it.
