If some of the crown heights merchants would give the service, price and (beikar) mentchlechkeit which Zalman gives I’d consider supporting them but in todays day youve got to earn your customers

it doesn’t matter if he his a member of the shechunah of if his father did this also, Hashem should bless everyone, but it is a shalo for a rov if you can take away business from the stores, which have to pay rent on a store etc. it is also illegal to sell things without a permit, on a street etc. and as far as i know: Dina d’malchus dina. This “merchant” is a CH resident that continues his father’s OBM business that was based IN CH for many years. Probably as long if not longer than some of the “Store” business owners.
No “pirates” of any form, but very legitimate. BTW honest and very well priced.

Rabbi Sosover and his father a”h live in CH and have been selling seforim in the sechuna for more years than I can remember….

He is our shchuna- support our own.
