I personally don’t feel that this is bakovidik to the Rebbe.

This may be great art but very disrespectful!

A positive perspective

For the same reason Chassidus was revealed by the Baal Shem Tov and Alter Rebbe etc. even though some pages of chassidus would end up in the gutter c”v…

The Rebbe’s image, may end up in the gutter c”v but if just one neshama is awakened, it would be well worth it. And even if it’s just a “maybe”.

A picture of the Rebbe has a different kedusha than a page of chasidus

The Rebbe would not allow a picture of the Alter Rebbe to be printed on a stamp in EY…

This is absolutely disrespectful

Especially as it is in a bus stop with another picture…

The Rebbe, in a similar scenario with the FR picture, instructed the perpetrator to go to ohel to beg forgiveness

Not the same

Stamps usually get ripped and thrown out so that makes sense but I’m not sure this falls into the same category.

Not very respectful

Really hope artist get the message & have it changed for the better, especially the bottom half of the picture

What's with the hate?

If you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything. I’ve been following this artist for a while, and I can honestly say he’s doing this out of inspiration and dedication to the Luavitcher Rebbe. The “bottom half” of this picture is the Rebbe’s beard that he creates out of his new artistic style called “stairism” which he creates portraits using “stairs”.

The artist might have good intentions

and be doing it out of sincerity, but learned and Chassidish experts should be consulted in this case. It doesn’t matter how modern the style is, this feels degrading especially for a Tzaddik of the Rebbe’s stature.

Kiddish hashem and you guys make it negative?
December 27, 2021 5:55 pm

Instead of looking at this kiddish hashem this artist makes on a daily basis with his following, you guys somehow turned it into bashing the artist.

Shout out Coby Katz
