This Chol Hamoed, girls of all ages can join an empowering program of music and inspiration for women and girls!
In an incredible show of unity, CHYeshiva is hosting Jewish Girls Unite, along with MEF and Bat Mitzvah Club International, for their second joint event. Singer and musician Esther Freeman, along with the beloved Morah Music, will be leading us in song and dance, with input from the teens of JGU.
The previous program on Yud Aleph Nissan featured an array of speakers and performers of all ages, and launched a Geulah Art Contest that is still ongoing! Girls from grade K-12 can create an original artwork on the theme of Geulah! Categories include music, writing, art, or video/multimedia.
All entries exhibiting effort and creativity will be entered into a raffle, with a special prize for each category. Submissions should be sent to [email protected] by Thursday after Pesach, כ”ט ניסן (April 24), so you can plan your entry while getting that Geula mode!
Congratulations to previous contest winners – Sima Shur and Nechama Gubnitsky of the Beis Hamikdash Contest, and Sarah Cousin and Mushky Peysin of the Dance Contest. Winners of the current Geulah Contest may be featured in an upcoming event!
The theme of Monday’s Pesach Celebration is “Shira Chadasha,” highlighting the unique role of women and girls in bringing the Geulah through their joy and faith. Bring your tambourines so you can dance along!
