PAID COVID RESEARCH STUDY

Crown Heights has been at the forefront of the COVID-19 pandemic since it arrived months ago, and continues to pioneer towards its care. We are super appreciative of generous support from the community as we support research and care related to COVID-19.

The organizers of this study are looking for volunteers who were previously Swab (PCR) POSITIVE ONLY to provide saliva and several small blood samples to be used in developing the rapid test. A rapid lateral flow test for antibodies will be performed on site and result provided to the participants. Participants will also be given a $75 honorarium for their time and effort to help with this study. If you have been tested for Nasal Swab PCR POSITIVE  for COVID-19, and would like to participate in the paid study, please visit this link to fill out your information:

Wish you had a Chavrusa to learn with?

Good news for Crown Heights residents:

Due to the situation in the world, many residents of Crown Heights are finding themselves with free time and say to themselves, “I wish I had a Chavrusa during this time so I could finish a complete ‘Masechta,’ a “Hemshech” in Chasidus, some “Sugyos” in Halacha, and more.”

Beis Eliezer Yitzhak Shul, located at 394 Kingston Ave. (above Mikvah Meir), opened its doors for the residents of Crown Heights with “Match Me a Chavrusa” – Chavrusas program.

For more information contact Rabbi Kalman Weinfeld via WhatsApp at 347-515-3232.

Every evening at 8:30 pm
Beginning on Sunday, 20 Tammuz (July 12th),
Followed by Maariv at 9:15 pm.
Followed by a 10-minute shiur in Hilchos Beis Habechira
