In response to requests from the public, Crown Heights Jewish Community Council is happy to announce that there will be a large outdoor, socially distanced location available to men and to women for Rosh Hashana Services.
Thanks to the generosity of Beis Rivkah Schools, CHJCC will be erecting a giant open tent in the playground at 310 Crown Street with sufficient space to accommodate those who wish to maintain social distancing.
The davening will be open only to people over 50 years old who are willing and able to adhere to the most stringent health guidelines.
Anyone who wishes to participate should email [email protected] and indicate the number of reservations required, together with a name and contact phone.
Volunteer offers for gabbaim, baalei tefillah, and baal tokeoah are encouraged.
I am under 50 years old who feels that it is very important to socially distance as well, can I join?
%100 The under 50 population are also at great risk, please advise the organization that people under 50 should also be considered.
Thank you
Just call chjcc
just like to say how thoughtful of crown Heights community to make a Minyan for the older generation
But need few more of those. Also at more locations
Consider another location in the far East (Schenectady/Utica)!
Outdoor minyan with masks Rosh Hashanah?
Please do this for the Seniors in the other areas of Crown Heights. Maybe places can be sold to help cover the costs. I know I would pay to have a safe setting for my mother ,but on the other end of CH (Troy Avenue).
If can be worked out, there are probably many people who would appreciate
this. Will these tents be closed in?
