A message from Rabbi Moshe Feiglin, Director of the Aliya Institute in Crown Heights:
With deep gratitude, I would like to thank Hashem, our matchers, donors and volunteers that helped make our campaign such an amazing success!
With your help we were able to raise 1.5 times our last year’s goal. I will I”H be taking all of your names that participated and helped to the Ohel for brochos on Yud Aleph Nissan. Tonight we will be having a celebration barbecue at Aliya for all of our donors and matchers and volunteers to show appreciation.
The funds from this campaign will go firstly towards our open house sedarim, building a therapy room for one-on-one and group therapy so our in-house therapist can give me my office back. We will be revamping the music studio and offering real music and band classes and hopefully, if we still have some funds left, we will redo the Aliya gym.
There were many amazing mini stories that happened during the campaign. One that stands out is the story with our sanitation worker:
Tony stopped by to say hello in the heat of the campaign. I asked him if he could stop by a little later when things weren’t so hectic. He said, “I came to give a donation for your campaign.”
He was one of the recipients of my mass text about the campaign and when he read my blessing that whoever gives will be blessed 1000 times, he wanted the blessings.
After leaving, he came back into Aliya very excited. He had found a $20 bill on his way back to his garbage truck. He wanted to tell everyone in the room with complete faith that the blessings already started working!
Another one of the very many beautiful things that happened during the campaign was that all 5 Chabad In-reach campaign that were campaigning that day contributed to each other’s campaign.
It showed the true Ahavas Yisroel that you only see in Chabad. Even while we were completely consumed with our own campaigns, we still thought about helping each other!
So glad you are here
Lookin good!!!
May we all continue to see miricals apon miricals
great story, we have had this happen love it
