Poor baby that is sick and poor father that need to be free for this Peisah but will spend it not home …. sad…
Why Williamsburg knowing that they have episodes of measles still not stay home with first signs of cold? Or not taking some extra care and doing shots to all community

Scapegoating frum jews for a worldwide measles outbreak

First the story on the El Al plane, which doesn’t add up, now the next day “conveniently” for the antisemites this thing at a prison of all places, involving frum chassidic jews. Even the provaxxers should know this whole thing sounds fishy. The whole world with billions or chinese people and billions in india and africa and all kinds of 3rd world places not getting vaccines to say the least, and everyone is mixing on planes and in airports and all around manhattan and the other big cities of the world, but somehow it’s the frum jews that are causing… Read more »

very sad for all those who now won’t be able to visit/be visited by their families before Yom Tov. Thanks to whoever selfishly brought that boy into the facility.

The way they are portraying the measles as caused by the Jews. Only reporting those while there are many others with measles that are not Jewish.
And…why not tell us if this child was vaccinated or not. Somehow they omit this mportant detail when mentioning the Jews are spreading diseases. In many of these measles cases the infected person was in fact vaccinated.

#5 I’m sure you mean well but you don’t make any sense. We were warned to wear a seatbelt, we chose not to and we got hurt. No conspiracy.

From Rabbi Shmuel Kamenetsky, shlita on Vaccines

R’ Shmuel Kamenetsky (born 1924), founder and rosh yeshiva of the Talmudical Yeshiva of Philadelphia. He is one of the most widely known living Haredi Jewish gedolim outside of Israel. He is the son of Rabbi Yaakov Kamenetsky. When reached by phone several, years ago by Baltimore Jewish Times, both R. Kamenetzky and has wife Temi confirmed their belief that vaccinations, not the diseases they prevent, are harmful. “There is a doctor in Chicago who doesn’t vaccinate any of his patients and they have no problem at all,” said the rabbi. “I see vaccinations as the problem. It’s a hoax.… Read more »

Re #7 , majority of measles cases in US are unvaccinated

“From 2001 through 2015, 1789 measles cases were reported among US residents (median age, 15 years [range, 0-89]; female, 47.1%). Most were unvaccinated (1243 patients [69.5%]) or had unknown vaccination status (316 patients [17.7%])” So definitely almost 70% were unvaccinated, and possibly up to 87%. Considering that the vaccination levels in the general US population are over 80% (in infants it’s over 90%), so being generous to anti-vaxxers, let’s say that 20% of the population is unvaccinated, yet they still account for at least 70% of cases. If we were talking about a room of 100 people, 80 vaccinated and… Read more »

Very irresponsible for Kaminetsky to make his personal opinions public. Vaccines work or else there would be many more cases of polio etc.

Vaccines are not healthy.
You can keep burying ur head in the sand and backing ur ignorance up with misappropriated halacha.

The Rebbe encouraged vaccination on multiple occasions.

The Rebbe encouraged vaccination on multiple occasions.

When the polio vaccine was being implemented in Israel, there were those who turned to the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson, of righteous memory, for his opinion. The following is a sampling of his replies. In the winter of 1957 the Rebbe wrote a reply, pointing out that he was hurrying to do so because of the prime importance of the issue at hand: . . Regarding your question about inoculations against disease: I am surprised by your question, since so many individuals from the Land of Israel have asked me about this and I have answered them in… Read more »
