We hear so much about it, especially around the time of Hey Teves. Yet for many, especially children, what exactly is in there and what purpose it serves remains a mystery. The Rebbe’s library is a place dear to every Chossid – but why?
In a revolutionary event, Chinuch Yaldei Hashluchim, the youth arm of The Shluchim Office has arranged an online tour of the library for all the students and parents of the Nigri International Shluchim Online School as well as any other children of shluchim who would like to attend.
The tour is scheduled for Friday from 11-12 pm EST.
Rabbi Zalman Levin, son of chief librarian Rabbi Berel Levin and himself having dedicated many hours of work in the Rebbe’s library, will be leading the exclusive tour. He will share insights and history about the many special items on display.
In a conversation with the director of this event, he said, “I will be showing the children an exhibition of keys and certificates that were presented to the Rebbe throughout the years, as well as many other exciting and rare items.”
The Nigri International Shluchim Online School is directed by Rabbi Moshe Shemtov. Chinuch Yaldei Hashluchim is directed by Mrs. Chanale Weisz and Mrs. Baila Levin. Rabbi Yossi Goodman & Ram Rabins will be lending their technical expertise to the online presentation.
The entire tour will be recorded and made available to those who are unable to attend the live tour, ensuring that those living in locations where it will already be Shabbos may also enjoy such a unique and beautiful event.

I am sure if you are living in a place where your children couldnt visit the library and you emailed CYH they would give you a username and password to log on. Have you ever tried? I personally live in a place far away for business reasonings and cyh have always gladly shared their hachanas with me and other things for my children. No need for negativity.
