Beis Medrash Oholei Torah has just released this year’s Shlichus list of their Talmidei Hashluchim going to 39 communities around the world.
Rabbi Elchonon Lesches, Dean of the Beis Medrash Oholei Torah, noted that the list’s release coincides with Yud Tes Tammuz, where in 5728 the Rebbe farbrenged and said a Maamor on this day, and called it the “Yom HaBris” of the Frierdiker Rebbe.
“There are 160 bochrim ka”h going to all corners of the globe,” he said. “Most of these bochurim were born in the year of Gimmel Tammuz, and this is the strongest indication of Zaroi ba’Chayim. There were many obstacles at the start, and the Rebbe’s Brochos were clearly evident at every turn. I would like to specifically thank Rabbi Avraham Gerlitsky and Rabbi Nachman Shapiro who worked night and day to find appropriate places for every single bochur.”
Rabbi Joseph Rosenfeld, Executive Director, and Rabbi Sholom Rosenfeld, Director, wish the bochurim Haltzlocha Rabba on their shlichus, and that they be maifitz Torah and Chassidus with that special chayos only found in Oholei Torah, the first yeshiva founded by the Rebbe.
