Flatbush Shluchim Rabbi Schneur Zalman and Sarah Mendelsohn went all-out green, white, and red for their Purim Bash this year.
All in all, a crowd of about 200 students, parents, and faculty showed up to get a taste of gourmet Italian dishes, Italian bread, Italian ices and Hamantashen….No, they weren’t Italian Hamantashen….Not always do things need to match and follow a pattern of perfection. Still, without Italian Hamantashen, the crowd enjoyed the evening quite immensely.
entalist David Blatt worked his magic on the guests raising the eyebrows of some while creating a jaw-dropping evening for all. The man is truly a mystery; although Mr. Blatt does take pride in revealing the mechanics behind many of the Illusions he performs in his show.
Some young, but brave children came up on stage to lead the crowd in one of the 12 pesukim.
Music blasting throughout the evening, the evening was full with children laughing, adults smiling, everyone making blessings, partaking in the Purim Seudah.
Beis Yaakov Ohel Sarah is a Flatbush-based girls’ school that recognizes the unique potential of each and every child that walks through their door.
