Thomas P. DiNapoli, Comptroller of the State of New York, visited the Jewish Children’s Museum in Crown Heights.
The Comptroller joined Devorah Halberstam, co-founder of the Museum, for lunch at Basil Pizza and Wine Bar, discussing the issues of the election cycle, terrorism and the issues affecting the Jewish community.
He then spent several hours touring the museum and all its interactive exhibits, accompanied by Halberstam and Sara Leah Bronstein, educational director of the Museum.
The Comptroller enjoyed watching the different groups from various day camps that were visiting, enjoying the Museum’s interactive and educational exhibits.
“I was honored to be able to host Comptroller DiNapoli at the Museum,” Halberstam told COLlive. “He said he enjoyed the visit immensely and expressed great interest in the issues that the Jewish community and the world is facing.”
Sure that N.Y. Comptroller has been impressed by the visit!
He had the best guides and one with the British accent!
The Museum looks fantastic!
Wish you lot of success!
