Starstruck? Oh, The Women’s Circle Totally Is!
It’s the melava malka of the year and you want to be there.
In just ten days from now, in celebration of its third anniversary, The Beis Medrash Women’s Circle invites the Crown Heights community to an evening of food, fun, and friendship.
Ella Adler will share her sometimes hilarious, sometimes poignant story. Henny Chanina will tell what the Women’s Circle means to her. And, of course, between the sumptuous milchig melava malka and the delectable dessert, more surprises await.
With diverse programming, and a warm, eclectic crowd, the Women’s Circle has become the address for weekly learning and insightful programming to hundreds of local women. On the eve of its fourth year, the Circle is turning to the community for help to continue, and expand.
Won’t you choose a star in your life? A family member? Friend? Community organization? Honor that special someone in the most meaningful way possible, by supporting a truly worthwhile community organization.
With a donation of any amount, you get to tell us who you nominate and why. All nominees will be recognized at the Melave Malka next motzei Shabbos. Send checks (payable to TBMWC) to 1650 Carroll St., Brooklyn, NY 11213 or make your donation online at www.thebeismedrash.com/donate. foster care – maybe you mean yaffa gottlieb?
i am excited because i am choosing as my star a woman who is an unsung heroine in this neighborhood. she benefits thousands with her gentleness and caring, yet receives no appreciation or recognition at all. i am thrilled to be able to finally bring forward that thousands of us owe her a huge hakaras hatov.
thank you TBMWC for making me sit down and think who to honor, and realizing it is this woman.
ok i’ll give you a hint.
initials CL.
i agree with #3! you guys who run tbmwc are the stars we should nominate 🙂 you are so devoted to coming up with great ideas and putting them into action for the women of ch, always with something yummy and always a creative program/speaker.. i dont have much of a social life besides these events so thank you for that! and my husband loves when i go, cuz i always come home happy and chirpy :))
such a necessary new component to the crown heights madness. can’t wait for this awesome event!
It seems like these women treat the women of CH with the care and respect which sheluchos give their women. Kol hakavod! thank you COLIVE for posting this, you can’t imagine how much it lifted my spirits.
do u mean mrs. hindy brusowankin?
There is a lady that provides foster care to children in crown heights that i would like to nominate but im not knowing her name.
You ladies are the best! ALWAYS bringing such great programs to our CH ladies – a place where moms are welcome to come learn with their children in tow.
TY Chanel and Devorah and all the women who help.
The programs TBM does takes CH a notch up.
They truly offer a classy yet inspiring experience with the finer things in life, including the decor and food.
Wish I was there!
You guys are our star
