Mesivta Ohr Temimim – Toronto has announced the hiring of a shiur gimmel magid shiur, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Landa.
Rabbi Landa, originally from Toronto, comes highly recommended with experience in dealing with and teaching Mesivta age bochurim.
“I look forward to cater to the individual needs of each bochur, helping him maximize his potential in learning, in Avodas Hashem and developing his unique personality”, said Rabbi Landa.
Mesivta Ohr Temimim is a Lubavitch Mesivta located in Toronto, Canada. It is
unique in what it offers to parents and bochurim, and it is unique in its chinuch approach and perspective.
In the successful two years of operation, it has already achieved a chinuch revolution; a revolution consistent with the Rebbe’s vision. The Mesivta aims to help each bochur advance in his Yiras Shomayim and Chassidishkeit, and strengthen his geshmak – joy in Limud Ha’Torah.
“The Mesivta was opened three years ago in response to an overwhelming demand. Parents and bochurim needed a yeshiva where learning at a high level was provided in a Tomchei Temimim atmosphere. They also needed a place to give them the opportunity to obtain an accredited diploma at the same time,” said Rabbi Baruch Zaltzman, Dean.
The Mesivta also supports the bochurim having a healthy physical outlet. This approach not only provides the natural benefits of physical activity, but also leads to a much healthier mental outlook.
Over and above the Mesivta’s programs, it has a beautiful and spacious learning facility and a beautiful clean and well-equipped dormitory. In totality, the commitment of the Mesivta towards the bochurim is to provide ideal surroundings, atmosphere, professionalism, and care for them to flourish b’ruchnius u’b’gashmiyus.
“We deeply care for each one of the bochurim and knowing each bochur’s individual needs, is of primary importance to us. The entire focus remains on instilling Mentchlichkeit, Erlechkeit and Chassidishkeit in the bochurim who come into our care”, said Rabbi Eliezer Posner, Menahel.
Rabbi Baruch Zaltzman, the principal of Cheder Chabad Toronto for 22 years, has now stepped in fulltime into the Mesivta and is fully dedicated to its success.
The end of the year banquet was enjoyed by all of the bochurm and the award giving ceremony was a highlight.
A new addition to the Mesivta is its Yeshivas Kayitz program. Check it out on the website below.

Wow! good for them
Rabbi Mendel Landa is a gem!!
Behatzlocho
looks like such a good mesivta. I heard the staff were great this year. Rabbi Zaltzman, Rabbi Posner and the shluchim keep up the great work, and I’m so excited to see Rabbi Landow on board next year!
How special and refreshing it is for a bochur to know that he needs to have kabolas ol, and he accepts it with joy. This can only happen because the hanhala allows for kabolas ol to be interniallized as a personal benefit that helps the bochur.
The bochurim who know Rabbi Landau are already excited and looking forward to his arrival. Thank you MOT for providing our son with such a beautiful, happy and chassidishe chinuch!
