Mrs. Nechama Kaushansky, a young wife and mother from Toronto, passed away on Shabbos, 18 Shvat, 5775.

Nechama and her husband R’ Arye Leib are members for the past 20 years of the Jewish Russian Community Center of Ontario, led by Rabbi Yoseph Y. Zaltzman.

In the past year, Mrs. Kaushansky tragically lost two of her children. Her son Refael Kaushansky obm passed away at the age of 17 suddenly on Friday, 14 Adar I 5774.
Her daughter, Chaya Mushka Kaushansky obm, passed away at the age of 14 on Shabbos day, 16 Cheshvan 5775.

to make moshiach a reality we need to live the times of moshiach.
Just like if I say a brocho then you WILL give me your apple, because I’m “pushing”, so too, if we live the times of moshiach (may it be speedily in our days) Hashem will have no choice but to SEND MOSHIACH NOW!
All of Anash and everyone reading this is grieving for you. Hope with all our hearts that the Rebbe’s true words of comfort can help you through this time: Rabbi Nachum Rabinovitz, an elder chassid who lives in Jerusalem, was once waiting for yechidut (a private audience with the Rebbe). Among those waiting was a young man, obviously wealthy, but wearing a morose and despondent expression. A short while later, the young man entered the Rebbe’s room, and when he emerged, his expression had changed. His face beamed forth energy and vitality. Curious about this abrupt shift in emotion, when… Read more »
I knew nechama personally and she was the greatest mom ever. Not only did she care so much for her kids, but she spent every moment with them. When Raffi obm passed away, it was understandable why everyone was so heartbroken. Raffi had a problem with his legs which made it impossible for him to walk. Yet, he happened to have all the latest technology I order for him to be able to get around. Chaya obm got sick- and due to privacy I will not say with what, and she was in an out of the hospital a lot.… Read more »

The medical challenges this family has no one else should know of. These are the unfortunate results. My heart breaks for those left in this world.
This is simply beyond the imaginable. Only Hashem can give them the superhuman strenght needed to survive and keep on living after all these unbearable tests… words cannot describe the indescribable… this family is reason enough for Moshiach to finally receive the notice to reveal himself and bring an end to all the suffering

There are no words. I imagine these 3 beautiful neshamas together with no pain, all niftar on or around Shabbos when the gates of Shomayim are open – but my heart is broken for the family left behind. The young daughter – a sparkling, strong, bright, lovely girl – is much too young to have to suffer such unimaginable loss. May Hashem comfort them and give them all the strength they need, and may we quickly be reunited with our loved ones, through the coming of Mashiach.
Nechama was a beautiful, vibrant chassidiste who was at the core of a nucleus of tight knit Russsian background, beautiful baal teshuvah families. Her humour, cheer and hashpoh made such an impact. It is such a great loss to all of us. May Hashem bring Moshiach and erase all pain and tears.
This is crazy! Why?????????????/ This is a whole family!
