We visited the Skops as part of our Traveling Shluchos program when I was in tenth grade. At the time they were expecting Chaim Boruch. They had recently found out that there were complications. Rather than cancelling our visit, they opened their hearts to us and shared their challenge with us. Together we sang the niggun l’chatchila ariber and spoke about overcoming challenges. It was truly inspiring.
I see that their children are just as special people as they are. You’re a special girl, Devorah Leah, and Chaim Boruch is lucky to have you as his big sister!
