To mark the release of the new album “The Great Farby,” musician Chony Milecki filmed 2 Farbrengens at Basil Restaurant in Crown Heights.
Milecki invited singers Benny Friedman, Beri Weber, and Yanky Lemmer for nothing-off-limits Farbrengens at Basil.
Topics discussed included “everything from the responsibility of musicians, the challenges of celebrity, the difficulties of davening, and even why I wasn’t (gasp) wearing a white button down shirt,” says Milecki.
“I wasn’t sure going in what to expect, but thank G-d we got some very real, personal, vulnerable and humorous moments.”
“The Great Farby,” a dance album featuring 17 tracks of favorite Chabad nigunim, features Jewish music artists Jewish music including Avi Piamenta, 8th Day, Eli Marcus, Benny Friedman, Beri Weber, Yoni Z, Shmueli Ungar, Yanky Lemmer, Rogers Park, Raya Mehemna, Nemouel Harroch, Mendi Jerufi, and more.
Physical CD copies are now available in stores. The digital download album is at www.thegreatfarby.com.
As a caring mother, I think that my children should be listening to niggunim, the way they are. I feel that the niggunim are completely changed, on chonis new album.
I think the way he plays them by chassunas are very beutyfull.
Don’t see a need to, to “create” new niggunim
But good intenshins.
Beautiful presentation by 321 Motion very good pics and videos
Anything choni does is phenomenal.
Can we see this farbrengen somewhere?
Not seeing the album on Google play 🙁
If they would only sing YECHI and mean it we would be out of Golus😆😃😁
I have heard Chazzan Chony singing “v’chol ma’aminim” for many years with his unique tune and each time it makes me so emotional.
