Girl Thanks Kids Night Out

Dear COLLIVE,

I went to three amazing programs at the Jewish Children’s Museum.

On the first night, as I neared the museum, I felt excited. I walked inside and sat down. We heard a beautiful story. Then, the boys went upstairs to the exhibits and the girls sat in a circle and each girl was given a drum. The Drummer taught us how to play different beats. The room was filled with everyone’s loud drumming. It was really exciting! When the girls were done, the boys came down to drum and the girls went to the exhibits. I loved the exhibits; they were a lot of fun.

The second event was Mad Science. First we heard a story and then the Mad Scientist started. He made a small fire and made something explode. It was fantastic, everyone was cheering! After, he put dry ice and a pill into a pot and gas came pouring out. It was so cool!

Balloon Sculpting was the third event. Again, we first heard a story. Then the Balloon guy showed us different ways to twist balloons. He gave us a few minutes to make any shape we wanted. Guess what! We got to fill our balloons ourselves, with an air pump. After two or three minutes, everyone showed him the balloons they made. Some kids made hats and some kids made goats. My friend made about 20 goats! They were really cute! He then showed us how to make a giraffe. Amazing!

I loved all three events and I hope there will be more soon :).
