I did not know about Rabbi I. Schochet z/l – I have had once the immense privilege of speaking a few times with Mrs. Jettie Schochet, one of the most beautiful human beings I ever met in my 73-year life. May HaShem comfort her and guard her always

Mazel tov on this great honour. We have long been admirers of Rabbi Emanuel Shochet and his very special wife Jettie. We would love to be with you, but we will be out-of-town. We wish you both many years of good health & continued nachas from your children.

CHARITY

Rabbi Schochet has been involved with a number of charities that are close to his heart over the years and the proceeds will be dispursed to the various charities. This would include certain specific Chabad mosdos as well.

Rabbi Schochet should just have a complete and speedy recovery, and spend MANY more years together with his wonderful Rebbetzin, doing their good work! You’re in our tefilos daily…..Yaakov Immanuel ben Sarah Sosha

I hope to be there - how about you?
January 24, 2011 4:04 pm

We travel out of our way for negative events. This is a positive celebration not to be missed by anyone and everyone who has ever been touched by the Rav and Rebbetzin. As such, it is well worth whatever travel or other cost that will be necessary to be there. I for one, plan to attend and say l’chaim, b’ez”H. How about you??
