Mimenu Yiru...Let every father learn with son
January 19, 2011 12:29 pm

Let us continue to umpire our children to reach great heights in Torah, Avodah and Yiras Shamiem. This is the o ly answer to the long and unbearable Galus. As the Rebbeh tells us every day, Moshiach is near. Thank you COL for giving us Chizuk, hope and a new level of expectation from our own children. Keep up these types of stories, it makes the Galus seem easier to defeat!!!

Mendel
January 19, 2011 12:22 pm

Brought tears to my eyes.

Rebbe, This is for you.

I think its time.

persistence
January 19, 2011 12:19 pm

It looks like his parents helped him with persistence. This has more to do with keeping at it and never giving up, than it has to do with brains. Hey, we all know Shema by heart. Anyone can do this if they put themselves to it for the thousands of hours it takes. Here is an example of someone who actually did it, unlike the rest of us lazy…..

We need to learn from this boy to do the same.

January 19, 2011 10:53 am

Wonderful story, and I’m sure that there are hundreds more like this, let COLlive do good journalistic research and you’ll be able to report such great stories on a daily basis.

And to Rabbi Schochet: Well deserved Nachas. May you live all your life and enjoy such Nachas from all your children and einiklach.

It’s not by chance that this story comes to the fore only 3 days after Yud Shvat. This shows how the Rebbe is greater and stronger now in his leadership to be able to produce such terrific Chasidimlach.

Ay Rebbe Rebbe, ven velen mir zich zehn?

Great
