There’s no seminary in Queensland. Unless the waters reach Melbourne, 850 miles away, one can assume that the seminary is safe, B”H.

Its true that Rabbi Moshe does incredible work, but we should not forget to show gratitude and recognition to the person who is the driving force behind Chabad of RARA – Rosie L. It’s her hard work and talent that really pull together all the ChRARA efforts. Under Rosie’s direction, and guidance, our jolly swagman Rabbi Moshe and his wife Shira (may they be blessed with long life, prosperity and happiness) accomplish so much for us and Judaism down under, in our home that is girth by sea.

Rosie, you’re fair dinkum!

It came as no surprise to me that Rabbi Loebenstein (or “Moish” as he is known to Jews across the windswept plains of this sunburned country) rose to the challenge and answered the call of his people in their hour of need. For him, RARA is not a job; it is a mission, a passion, a pursuit where the means and the ends are one. It is indeed unfortunate that it took a tragedy to highlight and showcase Rabbi Loebenstein’s boundless care and parallel abilities, but as we learn in Basi LeGani this year, it is specifically from the darkness… Read more »
