It is well know that the bond between Crown Heights and its shluchim is legendary.
The unbelievable Hachnosas Orchim with which the residents of Crown Heights open their doors for the shluchim really personifiesthe expression that “Chassidim Ein Mishpocha”, that we are part of a family of chassidim who are true partners in the Rebbe’s work.
Therefore, we turn to you, the residents of Crown Heights to open your homes once again to your fellow shlucha at the upcoming Kinus Hashluchos.
Those that would like to have a fellow shlucha as a guest during the Kinus can email [email protected] or call 718-774-4000 ext 280
Can we provide an Anger management course ?
????!?!???? Maybe rephrase that as please Ch-ers, when we bring our girls for Chof-Beis Shevat, please set an example of tznius to them!
Re the people who wrote nasty comments about shluchos inviting the CH people to the programme, for many shluchos this is the one time they meet other shluchos and frum people bichlal, and the rest of the year they are mamash alone. Stop feeling sorry for yourselves, you have an opportunity 24/7/365 to have programmes of your own etc.
I agree, Chumie. Shluchos have a strong responsibility to represent the Rebbe’s standards to our youth.
to those living in Crown Heights: you are fortunate to be live and raise your children in a wonderful atmosphere where yiddishkeit, chassidus, Shiurim, lectures, Chizuk is a constant part of your lives! The lectures appropriate to be opened to the community are lectures and classes offered to you on a regular basis. Why don’t you look inside and feel proud and take pleasure in hosting, so the shluchos can get a tiny bit of what ch has to offer all year long! Thank you!
i am looking forward to the kinus hashlucos to see some of my friends once again.,please shluchos when you come to our shchuna and you care how you look take an extra effort to show our children that even out of crown hieghts you can have long skirts full shietels and be dressed like a bas melech
CH is just amazing..goes from Tishrei guests to Campus shabbaton to kinus to teen shabbaton to chof bais shvat…to the countless all year guests from machon chana and hadar hatorah and other schools to the couples and families that are balabatim from shluchim visiting NY and the list goes on…. As a former CH’er, now on shlichus: CH deserves more appreciation!! And there definitely should be some give-back! For example, the weekly shiur given for shluchos and shluchim–so many are on topics that EVERY homemaker, wife, or mother would gain from and enjoy! Why not open up a bit? and… Read more »

First, Thank you Crown Heights for your amazing hopitality and making us feel at home. Regarding the subject of stores opening early, Hello…I’ve been saying this for years…I never understood how on BIG weekends in Crown Heights when there is a Kinnus, Convention, Gimmel Tammuz.,etc…the Store owners don’t think of opening at 9 a.m…..and I don’t mean the grocery and coffee shops. This is an opportunity to make alot of extra Parnossah. Most people need to get back to their families and usually take a noon flight home and would love to “chap arein” with all the Judaica and Tznius… Read more »
